Waiting to find out if you made the most recent Google Innovator Cohort #WDC17 is painful. You check your email all day, hang out on Twitter, and pretend not to be doing these things while at work. I thought the date was yesterday. I instead got another surprise-I was invited to the Google Geo Institute in Mountain View. Yes, I’m going to the Mothership. We’re Live in 5, 4, 3, 2 New and Improved Website!

After much work I am ready to officially launch my new website created by the one and only Briana O’Hern (aka my daughter). I am so proud of her and her accomplishments. She is so smart and put in a lot of time to set this up for me in time for the latest Google Innovator deadline. My video and vision deck are submitted and the only disadvantage to getting it done early is that I now have a longer wait to find out if I make the Washington D.C. cohort. 5th (Or 6th) Time’s a Charm

I don’t know I lost count. I was using an After Effects template to create something for my Google Certified Innovator application video and I had to restart several times to get it to work. First it didn’t work on my PC, then my MacBook, then I botched a layer and couldn’t figure out how to fix it. Finally, I put it in the video and realized I left out a picture.
